The aim of the activity is to raise the scientific, editorial and organisational level of the Journal of Machine Engineering (JME) to reach the standards of leading international periodicals (200 points of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education). The project plans to improve the publishing and reviewing process, as well as attracting quality articles and reviewers. Assumed outcomes include achieving a CiteScore of 1.8 in SCOPUS.
Activities include: coordination of the publishing process, promotion of JME in the scientific and conference environment, assigning DOI numbers to articles, development and maintenance of editorial and anti-plagiarism systems, modernisation of the website, and professional linguistic and editorial proofreading. The entire project is funded by ministerial funds.
