Before submitting an article, authors are asked to familiarize themselves with the documents presented above.

Criteria for papers
The Editorial Board of Journal of Machine Engineering takes under consideration for publication original articles.


Rules for Authors:

1. By submitting a paper to JMachEng, Authors confirm that the research described in the paper complies with the ethical standards – available here.

2. Authors confirm that the work has not been published previously that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere, that its publication is approved by all authors and tacitly or explicitly by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out and that, if accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in the same form, in English or in any other language, including electronically without the written consent of the copyright holder.

3. Submitted papers should be written in English. American English or UK English are fine so long as there is consistency. However, Authors whose native language is not English are kindly requested to have their papers proofread by a native speaker.

4. Submitted papers should be prepared in accordance with the editorial and technical requirements – see Guidelines For Authors tab. Please use Paper template file (you can find this file above).

5. Submissions are made via Editorial System - see Submit your paper (here).

6. The author(s) declare(s) to transfer copyright, free of charge, to the Editorial Office of the Wroclaw Council of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations NOT, Wroclaw.
The declaration (JMachEng’s Declaration of the copyright) is valid only in the case of a positive evaluation of the article and its publication (see Publishing Procedure) in the Journal of Machine Engineering.

7. Publication fee:
Once the article has been accepted for publication, the Editorial Office will contact the Corresponding Author about the publication fee payment.
Private persons and institutions outside Poland: 450EUR (from 2025 - 500EUR) + VAT (value added tax paid in the buyer's country)
All bank commissions are paid by the buyer.
The above amounts apply to articles of no more than 12 pages.
For each additional page over 12 pages the fee is 40EUR + VAT.

8. After registering the article in Crossref, the ORCID accounts for each authors are automatically completed.

9. Publisher is entitled to make some editing related alterations to the paper, thus not infringing the Author’s copyright.
